Responsible Evangelism
How hearers understand the Gospel has a direct impact on the church’s corporate witness in the community.  To be very clear the most important thing in evangelism is the Gospel!
There are four main points in evangelism area God – Man (sin) –Christ (propitiation) – Response (accept or reject).   Be prepared to present them in a clear concise manner when evangelizing.
Altar rail invitation use emotions to bring people down to make a commitment.  This is not usually a salvation experience but merely an emotional high that will fade. Remember Dever’s words ‘what you win them with you win them to’.

New Members
Membership class should be with an Elder or Pastor to make sure prospective members understand and can articulate the gospel.

Worship Style
Many church’s have a variety of styles, both musically and in structure.   No particular style is necessarily wrong unless it takes the focus away from God or His word.

Discipline
The biblical example should be followed with a view to restoration.  Accountability partners will help prevent the need for discipline.
